We stayed in the treehouse room and it was wonderful! it had a mini kitchen, so it’s like an apartment. Great breakfast every morning and wonderful staff, they helped us with anything we needed.

Woodburning stove with wood stacked ready for a fire, luxurious shower, well stocked kitchen including sparkling wine, fresh eggs and pancake mix. Our hosts were so helpful and communication was excellent. The sunset views from the observation deck were stunning!

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. The location was good near of the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. The house is in middle of a forest and is really quiet and is easy to see birds and monkeys. The pool is really nice and the beach is near walking. The house was clean and have all we need to enjoy the week we spend there.

At night, there is nice lightening, so you can still end the day with a dip in the water. We would definitely recommend Faremiti if you wanna stay in a cozy environment in walking distance from Parque La Ballena. We will surely revisit when travelling again to Uvita.

The host Rafael is extraordinarily kind and helpful. He has a dog named Fidel and a "fat", orange cat named Trump. Both are very cute! The house is full of books, chessboards and other cultural assets, which formed a base for intriguing conversations. The house is located at the very edge of the village. It has a beatiful garden with a terrace on which we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Overall the place has -in the most positive way- a certain "movie-like" feel to it. My girlfriend and I, having planned to go directly from San José to Corcovado national park by bus, our stay in Puerto Jimenez was originally a necessary measure, since there was no connecting bus at the same day we arrived. We ended up enjoying every minute of our stay and Rafael even provided some information about the animal species to be observed in the national park. Overall, I can totally recommend staying at Embassy House and would love to come back any time soon!

The pool and the garden with an amazing view makes this place unique. We enjoyed 2 nights there. They are pet friendly. You can order food or go to the next store around 10 min in Miramar. It’s a quiet place what we liked. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommended.
