Es war sauber und man hatte genügend Platz im Apartment und auch im Bad. Zudem eine schöne Aussicht.

The accommodation was absolutely perfect – a beautiful cabin with a jacuzzi and an amazing view. We felt great there, with a cozy atmosphere thanks to the fireplace. A very beautiful place away from Costa Rica’s tourist hustle and bustle.

This was a family trip. The rooms were cozy and well equipped. Extra blankets and heating is provided. The rooms are comfortable and surrounded by nature. It creates a great experience and you have the river sound. If you are not used to that sound it is really relaxing. The hotel has a green house where you can buy and see plants. They are lovely. The trails are very nice. Be mindful that to reach the entrance you need to walk 1.5 Km. La Quebrada is a trail that you can walk with small children. No wheel chair nor prawn/stroller. Los Pioneros is a short and flat trail. Suitable for elderly persons. We traveled with one and was the perfect walk. The food was delicious. The breakfast is a buffet with plenty of options and very tasty.

This little hotel is very beautiful and well maintained. Every room has a gorgeous view. You could sit on a small terrace in front of your room. The breakfast was simple but very good. It was served on a big terrace overlooking San Isidro de El General. The flora and fauna around the hotel was awesome. The staff was super nice and attended to all our needs immediately. Getting to the parking lot is a little tricky, because you have to go down a steep hill. But it is manageable.

Surprisingly quiet and in a nice location. We stayed there three times ..the night we arrived and two other times between flights to different places. The staff were very kind.

Set in a residential area, next to Costa Rica Country Club, Apartotel & Suites Villas del Rio features 2 outdoor pools, a hot tub and gym. A free airport shuttle service is offered. We stayed at Apart Hotel Villas del Río and really enjoyed it. The apartments are spacious, airy, and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety and fresh options. What really stood out was the staff — everyone was super friendly and always greeted us with a smile, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re staying in San José!
