The only drawback being a rather big gap between the floor and the entrance door, letting cold air in (early March). The fancoil was good enough to heat up the room though. Els Jardins de la Martana can be found in the historic centre of Besalú, next to the famous Romanesque bridge. It has free Wi-Fi and mountain views.

All of the rooms in Jardins de la Martana have a private bathroom, as well as TV, minibar and telephone.

Els Jardins has a lounge with a fireplace, as well as large library. Stayed for two nights and it was fantastic. Just over the bridge from the old town and a perfect location. Wonderful breakfast lovely staff small but very comfortable room. Ask for The corner room on the first floor near reception. We had two balconies! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Location is amazing, just across the street from the Bus Station so it’s incredibly easy to find upon arrival. The beach was only 10 minute walk away from the hotel. 2. Staff was kind and helpful, room service on a daily basis was amazing, everything was kept clean. 3. Amazing hotel facilities, the gym, restaurant, bar, both swimming pools, and the spa.

It has an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, sanarium at 60ºC, sauna at 80ºC, Turkish bath, high-pressure showers and ice fountain. There is also a fitness room and rooftop sun terrace. Staff are really friendly and attentive, location is perfect , food is just superb. Really recommend this place. Rooms are nice.
