The property is an adventure like no other place we have visited.

The chateau is beautiful, photos do not do it justice. It is more impressive in real life. The building, the staircase, the grounds, all are beautiful. The rooms are very spacious. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. An atmosphere of calm prevails throughout. Old beautiful with modern amenities such as a reliable lift and efficient air conditioning and we were there on some very hot days. The parking is secure behind a security gate right next to the chateau. You can have breakfast outside in the beautiful grounds which is a lovely start to the day. It is a 12 minute walk at a slow pace as it was so hot into the old town of Samaur which was also perfect. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The host was very helpful and the standard of cleanliness and quality of accommodation was excellent and the location was excellent. I would highly recommend.

Warm welcome from host Véronique, hospitality exceeded any expectations and absolutely stunning location. Last minute booking yet we were welcomed with offers of food and drinks. The whole place is beautifully put together and each room tended with care. Will be back when next passing and would highly recommend. Lovely breakfast with fresh pastries, homemade yoghurt and local produce.

A bonus was the coffee station with a selection of teas and capsule coffee, which we especially appreciated in the morning with the window open overlooking the quiet streets of Brissac. --- 💬 Hosts: French-style hospitality The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming - they welcomed us with a smile, gave us restaurant tips, recommendations for nearby excursions and even booked us a tour of the Brissac Castle. They were always there when we needed something, but at the same time respected our privacy. Their hospitality was sincere and natural, which created a great atmosphere throughout our stay. --- 🍽️ Breakfast: A little gourmet experience The breakfast was exceptional! Served in a beautiful, bright space or on the terrace, depending on the weather. Freshly baked croissants every day, homemade jam, fruit, cheese, yogurt and a selection of quality coffee or tea. Everything was delicious, local and prepared with love.
