We opened the doors to wonderful old world charm, it was roomy, with a modern kitchen and bathroom, upstairs we found a king size bed which was luscious. In the kitchen we found these wonderful surprises, a beautiful cob loaf, some Welsh cookies, jams and butters which were absolutely delicious and a number of small packets of cereals and in the fridge a bottle of milk and a large carton of orange juice . A warm heater in the lounge which looked like an open fire added to the lovely ambiance. In the the backyard we discovered another wonderful surprise, including a well equipped laundry room. So fellow travelers if you wanting to stay in Llandovery I REALLY SUGGEST YOU STAY HERE, we stayed for 3 days and wished we had booked a week, finally the price was very reasonable. thank you so much to our lovely hosts, from we travelers from Australia.

We loved the level of thought that had gone into this place and will be back again!

Die Vale Farm Cottages befinden sich auf einem Bauernhof, 6,4 km vom Nationalpark Brecon Beacons entfernt. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Cottage. Die Lage war schön, gerade wenn man es ruhig mag. Wir waren zudem täglich im Pool, was bei schlechtem Wetter eine super Alternative ist. Weiterzuempfehlen

We enjoyed a wonderful week based in this classy and yes - luxury - retreat. The accommodation is spacious, beautifully designed and well equipped and one small query we had was dealt with immediately. We enjoyed the welcome pack and loved the huge, comfy bed and glamorous bathroom. With everything you need in the kitchen, a large TV (and log fire for colder nights), plenty of space on the terrace for yoga or reading in the reclining chairs and a lovely countryside view but only minutes from the centre of Abergavenny, The Wren is a great choice. We hope to return!
