Rooms clean and reasonably spacious- Lots of pillows A+ Breakfast fresh and personalised. Showers hot and plenty of water. Quite guesthouse but family friendly.

Our room large offering plenty of space for my morning yoga’s routine. We enjoyed all the facilities the props had to offer and there were plenty of them! Pool, spa x2, steam room and sauna. Breakfast was delicious and great service. All the staff were friendly yet efficient. I would highly recommend staying at Ambleside Salutation if you are visiting the Lakes District. We loved our stay here!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel nestled in beautiful natural surroundings. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and it was very delicious.

The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. Lovely room with view of Lake Windermere. Excellent breakfast. Pub evening meal was great. Second time we have stayed at this hotel and would definitely stay again.

HOT TUB Comfortable room, lovely bed. The room is very spacious. Tea and coffee making facilities with different types of tea, nice bottle of water and cookies. It's great to have a fridge in the room. The electric blanket on the bed was great, we did Brighton marathon, and it was nice to put our sore legs into a warm bed, helped them to relax a bit. Nice size bathroom Breakfast was really good, really tasty and great quality. Really enjoyed it. Hotel staff is really friendly and nice. Felt very welcome Hotel in a great location, near the town centre and beach. Lots of shops nearby. Will definitely stay here again if in Brighton

It’s unique setting, architecture and history. The spa is exceptional! Even our room as the most economical option was fantastic.
