We also appreciated the extra seating so that we could all hang out in the larger room to watch a movie. The location was great. Easy walk to a Roman Fort, the lakefront, pubs, and also walkable into Ambleside. Our kids loved the hot tub. Staff were friendly.

Very comfortable enclosed private cabin. The choice of hot tub, jacuzzi bath (with TV) and shower/steam room were excellent. Great choices of coffee/tea/hot chocolate with added bonus of real milk! The breakfast delivery was also a great plus for our stay. All staff were helpful and cheerful and ensured our every need were catered for. Thankyou to them especially!

Beautiful hotel. We had a room with a private hot tub on the balcony.
The room was spotless, lovely comfortable bed and decorated beautifully. The room and hotel and spa were very clean.
Lovely toiletries from Elemis. Bath robes, slippers and towels for the hot tub.
The spa is beautiful, really relaxing atmosphere and very clean.
The staff were fantastic, very warm and welcoming and friendly, from driving into the entrance, to being shown around the hotel and our room and to check out.
Loved everything about this place.

Room was spot on. Comfortable bed with a choice of pillows. Warm and quiet. Nice bathroom with lovely toiletries, a selection of towels and dressing gowns for the spa. Spa was simple but nice and relaxing atmosphere. Steam room, pool, large jacuzzi. Great value. Remember to book the spa in advance though, in case it fills up.

apartment was immaculately clean. plenty of space. everything about just oozed 5 star quality. located right in the centre of windermere few mins walk to all local shops bars and restaurants. loved the jacuzzi bath which is huge. the resin floor throughout the property is is just amazing. would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone wanting that little bit of extra luxury.

Amazing spacious & comfortable room, attentive hosts who went out of their way to cater for our needs. Complementary use of luxury Spa 3 miles away was out of this world, with outdoor jacuzzi & views I paid additional for massage treatment was best I’d ever had - was so relaxing would throughly recommend

stayed for 2 night for a family wedding at a venue close by. Welcomed by friendly staff and arranged a spa booking for the end of our stay. Started the next day with a leisurely hearty breakfast cooked to order. Service a little slow but food tasty and good portions. Our room overlooked spa garden and so day after the wedding and check out we took advantage of the onsite spa and enjoyed a relaxing morning in the jacuzzi and sauna before setting off home.

Beautiful building, nice and cosy inside. Everything you need to kick back and relax. Fantastic jacuzzi bath! Beds super comfortable. Clean, tidy, GORGEOUS. Loved the fact it’s easily accessible and has goats and sheep right outside. Lovely garden area.

The property exceeded our expectation.
The location is very accessible to the main area of Windermere - this is our 2nd time in Lake District and we were happy finding this property to accommodate our big group of 9 people + 1 pet! The property has a very good and modern bathroom and kitchen. Very beautiful, spacious and elegant master bedroom! Bedsheets are nice and pillows are good. We enjoyed the hot tub/ jacuzzi! Pet- friendly property, wide front area/ garden for dog walks and bbq!

Very warm welcome from the friendly front of house. The room was good, nice four poster bed and everything needed in the room. Lovely spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, too, a welcome surprise. The dog was made very welcome even in the dining room. This hotel is fabulous for dog owners.
The facilities are fantastic, we used the pool, steam and sauna rooms which are included in the price which is overall fantastic value.
We had an amazing time. The Lake District is absolutely stunning, and we will definitely return.
