My partner and I recently enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's Day stay at Acorn Cottage, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The location is fantastic, being close to the legendary Sherwood Forest and the Major Oak, offering opportunities for beautiful walks and exploring the area. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The owner was absolutely amazing – so welcoming and helpful. The cottage itself was perfect; it had everything we could possibly need and more. It truly felt like a home away from home. We had an absolutely fantastic time, and it made our Valentine's Day extra special. The location was also ideal, being close to both a pub and local shops, which was very convenient. We will definitely be booking Acorn Cottage again, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway, especially those wanting to explore the beauty of Sherwood Forest.

Doté d'un restaurant traditionnel et d'un bar à bière, le Staunton Arms propose des chambres modernes avec connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. A little gem of a place. Very conveniently, owners and staff were friendly and helpful from first to last. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with all the facilities you could possibly wish for. The drinks,meals, in the bar was excellent, will be returning in the near future.

Shepherd’s retreat is the perfect getaway The accommodation was exceptional, very comfortable and extremely clean. The hosts made us feel very welcome, nothing too much trouble. The weather was cold during our stay so we took full advantage of the hot tub after shopping and lunch in Newark which is only a very short drive away. We would highly recommend.
