Located in a quiet environment and a "base camp" for exploring Loch Lomond and the surrounding region. Well suited for longer stays. Very friendly staff and easy check-in and check-out.

Knipoch now has a Hot Tub Lovely 4 star hotel with sea views just 15 minutes from Oban. Very friendly local staff who gave lots of advice about the local area and wildlife. The rooms are quite large and comfortable with Scottish interiors and renovations finished in 2024. There are 2 lounge areas with a wood fire for use also in the day time. Breakfast was served at the table on the breakfast room (extra cost). The restaurant food was very high quality and good value with the same menu for lunch or dinner. Well located for walks and visits with the possibility of seeing wildlife although you would be best with a car. Highly recommended I would love to go back in any season !

Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. House was extraordinarily cute with an amazing view. All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.
