Some cottages also include a wood burning stove. Some properties boast a private hot tub and a sauna. What a lovely property. The studio was spacious and well lit. It was sufficiently stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Everything was clean and beds were super comfy. The private garden was the highlight. Also, although a bit further from the city, which shouldn’t be a problem even if you don’t have a car since cabs are easily available, it was right across the road from the loch. The farm right outside the cottages was lovely. Peaceful location.

The property features garden views and is 34 km from Tantallon Castle and 42 km from Etal Castle. The accommodation offers a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. This is without a doubt a 10/10 property. The generosity and hospitality shown by the hosts is second to none. We stayed in a family cabin and it was surprisingly spacious, so clean, comfortable and equiped with everything we needed. The hot tub was of course a highlight of the trip, as was getting to pat and feed the highland cows (plus other farm animals). Beautiful location well located near Ballater. Comfortable bed.

Very beautiful house, with very spacious rooms, shared living spaces and a big kitchen for cooking and dining together as a family of 8! A plus point that everything was on the first floor, perfect for elderly or individuals who need mobility assistance. There were portable heaters in the rooms as well and bathrooms were very clean! The parking space was spacious as well for a 9 seater van.
