Former residence of a 19th century mayor of Nafplion, Ilion is situated in the centre of the Old Town, overlooking Syntagma Square. It features classical furnishings and rooms with different themes. A hammam is available. We had a wonderful time at Ilion Hotel! The location is amazing, in the very center of Nafplio, close to all the shops and taverns. The room itself was very spacious, wonderfully decorated and we really enjoyed the bathtub with the jacuzzi function. The breakfast was delicious and plenty, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They helped us arrange our visit to Mycenae (Mykines) and answered all our questions thoroughly. A recently renovated property, Evripidou 7 - Kalamata Mediterranean Suites is set in Kalamata near Kalamata Beach, Municipal Railway Park of Kalamata and Pantazopoulio Cultural Center. The property features mountain and city views, and is 1.2 km from Public Library -Gallery of Kalamata. The accommodation offers a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. Staff were super helpful and kind. The suite was lovely, comfortable beds and contained all the amenities needed for a great stay in Kalamata. I appreciated that the kitchenette was well stocked. The location even has laundry facilities and balcony with clothes drying racks, which was helpful during our stay. The location is a great middle ground between the beach and city center.
