This is likely one of the most beautiful places to stay in Peten, the hotel has incredible views of lake Peten Itza at pretty much every corner. A cool funicular that will take you to the a small dock on the lower part, where you will be able to jump in the lake and continue to admire the scenery. To that you can add really nice food at the restaurant that has enough variety to not taste the same food on a week long trip. But, the best thing about this place is it’s amazing staff, they are so welcoming and friendly, they will treat you like family. They gave us a lot of tips about where to go and how to get there, they always welcomed us back with a smile, a cold towel and a clean room.

I have an autistic boy who enjoys seeing the sunset at Peten Itza Lake. I'm really thankful to all the staff who made my son's dream of having a campfire near the lake while enjoying the sunset. I enjoyed yoga in the morning and it was great to book all kinds of trips to Tikal and other interesting locations. So, all in one place for leisure and fun! 😊 Nice dorms and in the late hours it gets quiet so it's all good.

The staff was very helpful, the food excellent The view to the lake was the best. Super clean and spacious rooms.. i want to go back it was the best decision.

The room had 3 queen beds and was very spacious. We fit my spouse, 2 daughters and father with plenty of room and did not feel crowded at all. The view from the balcony was very pretty. The included breakfast (for the 3 adults only) was delicious and traditional. They offered a shuttle to the airport and even though we had to get there a couple hours earlier, we appreciated the free ride and the driver was great! They also had a bar with great views and the entire hotel was very clean. If we are lucky to return to this area again, we will definitely stay here.
