Das Hotel Toliman in San Lucas Tolimán in der Region Solola liegt 45 km von Antigua Guatemala entfernt und bietet einen ganzjährig geöffneten Außenpool. This is a gem. One of our favorite places to stay over 4 months travel to Central America. The location is amazing, in a small town that sees very little tourism, at the foot of Attilan volcano and right on the lake. The grounds are gorgeous, with a lovely pool and fantastic organic garden and plenty of hammocks. The restaurant is fabulous, we loved everything we ate, from the well served breakfasts to tasty and fresh salads, soups and fish, with almost everything sourced in their own organic garden. The staff are all kind and helpful and very well trained (the waiters also double as guides for the hikes which is nice). There seems to be real pride in working here.

Mit einem Außenpool und einem Whirlpool mit Hydromassage erwartet Sie das Tzampoc Resort in Santa Catarina Palopó. If you’re on the fence, book this place! This was an incredible hotel. While the photos online are great, they really don’t do this hotel justice! I stayed in the suite and had incredible volcano views with awesome sunsets every night. The pool area is heavenly, the restaurant has really good food, but what really makes this place is the incredible staff. Super attentive, always willing to help, give recommendations, and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel only has seven rooms total but when I was there it seemed it was only half full (which is very surprising), so if you’re looking for peace and solitude with insane views and a pool and grounds to match, this is your place. Big shoutout to the staff who helped set up transport to the airport and dealt with my many questions! Cannot wait to come back! I’d stay here over Casa Palopó any day.

Die Atitlan Sunset Lodge Apartments liegen am Ufer des Sees Atitlan in Santa Cruz La Laguna und bieten eine hervorragende Aussicht auf den Vulkan. We stayed in the studio and just loved it!!! It was beautiful, and charming. Incredible views of the volcanos. A stunning walk to Santa Cruz town. The paddle boards were a treat. We loved everything about our stay.
