Die Lage ist perfekt: Es befindet sich auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Hafens, wo es deutlich ruhiger und weitläufiger ist. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Restaurants und Cafés, und das Hotel bietet eine tolle Atmosphäre zum Entspannen am Pool. Wir haben in einem Cottage übernachtet, was für ein paar Nächte absolut ideal war. Wenn wir länger geblieben wären, hätten wir vermutlich das größere Cottage gewählt – beide sind jedoch wirklich schön. Die Hotelzimmer selbst habe ich nicht gesehen, da ich von Anfang an in einem Cottage schlafen wollte. Der Weg dorthin führt durch die weitläufige Anlage, wodurch man das Gefühl hat, viel Privatsphäre zu genießen und nicht ständig anderen Gästen zu begegnen (ausgenommen in den Gemeinschaftsbereichen wie Pool, Restaurant und Bar). Die Cocktails sind ausgezeichnet und können jederzeit – am Pool, an der Bar oder direkt am Strand – genossen werden. Auch das Essen war hervorragend. Truly a remarkable place and the best stay we’ve had on this trip through Bali and this little bit of Lombok. The facilities were lovely but not overly fussy. The staff were friendly and attentive with being intrusive. The room had lots of natural light and good translucent curtains that allowed in the sunshine without putting us on display. The location was an about 50 meters from the main road with stores and restaurants and a 2 minute walk to the harbor where we arrived and also booked our snorkeling trip. From there it was a 5 to 10 minutes clockwise around the island for the best sunset beachfront drinks and dining or 5 to 10 minutes counter clockwise for yoga, more restaurants overlooking Lombok (I assume you might also see a sunrise there you were a sunrise kind of person) and some great snorkeling from the beach. We spent a week there on our month-long vacation and, while that’s longer than you need to see Gili Air, I don’t regret a day.

We loved our stay at Villa Cinta Family. The location was great, in a quiet street just a short walk from the bars and restaurants. The villa was clean, the rooms were big and the hot tubs were wonderful. The owner was so friendly, quick to respond and helping us to rent bicycles and snorkel with turtles. Would highly recommend!

The staff were extremely friendly. Despite it being the “rainy season,” we had great weather and were able to fully enjoy the private pool. Highly recommended!
