Gorgeous views from the balcony, warm and cozy, great location (with parking), the apartment had everything we needed. There were two of us and I used the sofa bed, which was prepared for my arrival and really comfy. So close to Reykjavik centre and a perfect base for exploring further (driving the golden circle etc.) Will definitely try to book this apartment on my next trip to Reykjavik.

A hot tub is available for guests. The property is non-smoking and is situated 15 km from Hallgrímskirkja Church. The location has a beautiful view. It is close to downtown but also close to walking trails. When contacting the owner with questions they were quick to answer. We had access to a washer and dryer as well as a full kitchen. We did not use the hot tub due to our schedule and some weather, but it was also available. Check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. This home was our base, and it was easy to travel to all the destinations we desired to visit without needing to repack and move to another location each night.

It is not that far from Reykiavik but it is in an isolated and relaxed area.

Very clean and spacious.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Nýlegur sumarbústaður/friðsæld is situated in Mosfellsbær. A hot tub is available for guests. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Location was close to Thingvellir (25 min out) and also close to most north/western part of the island (30min) which was great to be closer to the ocean and other towns. The house was super cute and modern with heated floors (I think). The kitchen had all the extras you could need to cook or eat with a well-stocked pantry. There was also an outdoor seating are and jacuzzi which we didn't get to use but I imagine it would be nice to sit there. It was super windy outside so the noise is kind of scary but the house did not blow away in the end hahah. it was a great stay and very comfortable place!!!
