The cabin itself is small but very clean with everything you need. Providing housecoats for the hot tub is a nice added touch. Just down the road is a little fishing village that has a free open air hot tub overlooking the Harbour where whales are often spotted! The owners were away but Sue was very helpful in directing us to the best fish and chips at Baccala!

It is perfect for getaway weekend with a loved one or family and the best choise for those who want to enjoy the silence and relax. There were more apartments around but in a distance that did not bother us at all, we felt like we were there alone what was great! Well eqipted kitchen and easy control hottube. Many small details that made us smile and we really felt welcome. We higly recomend Svartaborg and would like to stay there again if we get the chance :)

The lodge offers a hot tub. This cabin was pure magic. Tucked away in peaceful nature, it felt like stepping into a cozy Icelandic dream. Every detail — from the lighting to the decor to the thoughtful little touches — was clearly arranged with care. The space was spotless, warm, and welcoming, and we instantly felt at home. We only wish we had booked more nights — it was the perfect place to unwind after long days on the road. The views, the atmosphere, the comfort… everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful stay that still feels close to adventure.

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We had the house to ourselves! Which was absolutely unexpected but welcomed. The lobby was really cosy and the kitchen perfectly equipped. We love animals , so we felt very good on a farm. The host was really helpful! Booking app didn't send me important informations and for two days we had a problem with Booking services. The host was very kind and very helpful and made sure that we have everyhing we need. The hot tub was absolutely amazing, really hot which was great after a long day in the Icelandic weather. Thank you for your hospitality :)
