The receptionist who was there upon our arrival, shows us on the map what we can do because the weather conditions wasn’t good for the things that we have planed to do. The food in the restaurant was good and also the breakfast has many options to choose. The bed was comfortable and we have a huge window right across in order to see the sky. Till now it was the best hotel in Iceland!

At the apartment complex, some units are soundproof. The Garage was a wonderful place to stay! The view of the waterfall is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Anna was a thoughtful and caring host — we really appreciated the warm welcome. The hot tub was a great bonus, perfect for relaxing. Everything was clean, peaceful, and full of charm. We only stayed one night, but wish we had more time. Highly recommended!

The family-owned Hótel Lækur is set on an Icelandic horse farm, between the Golden Circle and the south coast. Hella is 10 minutes’ drive away. It offers a sun terrace and a guest lounge.

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. It offers horse riding during the summer season, traditional cooking and a geothermal outdoor hot tub. Amazing experience. We were coming late, so I texted them and the staff prepared a room for us and left a key. So check in at 11 pm went smoothly. We had nice warm room, we liked everything! Highly recommend
