The Staff were exceptional from the beginning. The check in was very professional and we were provided a lot of information. We immediately reserved a dinner table and requested the “aurora wake up call”. Dinner was very good and high quality. Some of the staff were in training. We noticed that even while training multiple new members of staff, the service didn’t lack any attention. I was feeling a little under the weather. When I asked for a bit of honey for my tea, one of the service staff provided not only the honey but also lemon to cure my sore throat. If ever in Iceland, please stay here!

At the apartment complex, some units are soundproof. We loved everything about the house, the host & the facilities. It was a regret that we only stayed one night. We had one of our best sleep here. Anna was kind & helpful to our needs. The mountain view behind us was magnificent with the waterfalls flowing.

Lovely stay and Anna was very helpful to guide us to the nearby attractions. Highly recommend.

The family-owned Hótel Lækur is set on an Icelandic horse farm, between the Golden Circle and the south coast. Hella is 10 minutes’ drive away. It offers a sun terrace and a guest lounge.
