I had a lovely time during my stay, the rooms offer an incredible view over the sea and I was able to enjoy the sunsets every evening from the balcony. The hotel itself was charming and well maintained, the thermal pool was great. The owner was nice enough to pick me up from the ferry dock and drop me off as well when it was time to leave. The location is a bit off the main road but close enough to the bus stop to access the main bus lines running through the island. The property is actually a bit larger than it appears in the photos which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely stay here again!

Situated halfway between Casamicciola Terme and Ischia, 5 km from Baia di San Montano, Villa Araucaria features an outdoor pool and a bar. The Castiglione Thermal Baths are 10 minutes' walk away.

Every room comes with a satellite flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with hydromassage shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. If you want to stay in a nice place with stunning view and cosy swimming pool, Villa Araucaria is the best choice. Everywhere is clean and there is also a huge terrace. Lucia is a great host, she can offer you fruits and wine during the day and great breakfast in the morning. Carlo speaks fluently English, he knows everything about the island and he advice you very well. And he also explain you where the apartment is, because it is not so easy to find it. Every unit comes with a private bathroom with a bath or shower and a hair dryer. Towels are featured. HIGHLY recommend Residence Villa Cristina if you plan a vacation on Ischia! Each guest has a private apartment and bathroom with a small kitchenette. The residence is in a private, tropical botanical garden with a beautiful swimming pool. Breakfasts (and other meals) are in a beautiful open air covered patio overlooking the swimming pool and palm trees. Recommend the mezza pensione/half board in which dinner is included. The dinners include several antipasti/appetizers, a primo/pasta, a secondo/meat which was usually fresh local fish, dessert, and wine made by the owners. Very good value for the money and everything was freshly made at the moment! A bonus: the best beach on Ischia, San Francesco, is an easy 10-minute walk from the residence. Will definitely return! The staff is like family!

Room was excellent; excellent mattress; ample shelving and drawers; perfect climate control with heat pump; just right bathroom with good shelving. Breakfast was more than ample; hostess/owner was personable, gracious and helpful. Hot pool/Roman bath was an unexpected treat. Perfectly located 30 feet from a bus stop and easily walkable to Sant’Angelo.

With its own swimming pool and a hot tub, Tenuta De Poggio Antico offers panoramic views of the hills with citrus trees, vineyards and sea in the distance. It provides a free shuttle from Forio Harbour, 2 km away. It would be a long list… I will just highlight that people that work there, create wonderful experience and atmosphere that would be hard to rate in 10 scale rating.
