Recently, my family and I went on an unforgettable trip to Italy, to the beautiful Lago d'Orta. We stayed in the charming town of San Giulio, at Villa Casa Elsa — and it was truly a wonderful experience. There were five of us and a small Corgi dog, and we comfortably settled into the spacious apartment. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, including a coffee machine — we really felt at home. The villa offers stunning views of the lake and the surrounding hills. Free parking was available nearby, which is incredibly convenient for travelers arriving by car. There’s also a cozy gazebo with a small grill and a breathtaking view over the lake — although we didn’t use it, it’s a nice surprise for barbecue lovers. The historical center of San Giulio is just a short walk away. In the evenings, it’s amazing to stroll through its narrow old streets, take in the charm of the old town, enjoy the lake views, have dinner at a local restaurant, and sip a glass of good wine. You’ll also find small shops with lovely souvenirs. A special highlight was the Coffee Museum, where very welcoming people serve excellent coffee — a must-visit! One of the greatest advantages of staying at Casa Elsa is the private beach available exclusively to guests — free of charge! It’s only a few minutes' walk from the villa, and the area is incredibly peaceful and scenic. Right next to the beach, you can rent kayaks, pedal boats, or SUP boards. The host, Laura, was extremely kind, welcoming, and always available if we had any questions or needed assistance. Without a doubt, we’ll stay at Villa Casa Elsa again on our next trip — and we’ll recommend it to all our friends and family!

Alles war super! Nachts vom Hot Tube aus die Sterne zu beobachten ist traumhaft! Ich kann für alle empfehlen!

We stayed in the penthouse suite and the views were spectacular! Monica was a great hostess and helped in everyway possible...from places to see, restaurants, the spa. I would highly recommend the Villa Antica, you will not be disappointed! A definite 10! We will be back!

The hotel is beautifully located, the room is very comfortable, everything is well thought out and arranged, and the breakfast is varied and delicious. The staff is always willing to help. The hotel restaurant is also very good with excellent food and good service.

Das Hotel L'Approdo bietet einen eigenen Strand und eine herrliche Aussicht auf den Lago d'Orta. Es liegt nur wenige Fahrminuten von Orta San Giulio und der Autobahn A26 entfernt. The Approdo is superbly located by the Cinderella lake, Lago D’Orta. Rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and the staff very helpful. The Buffet breakfast catered for all nationalities with a great choice of food. Staff at the pool shack made an iced espresso that kept the energy levels up. Can’t fault this property.
