This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The apartment has a hot tub and luggage storage space. The host, Irina, met us on arrival and gave us lots of useful information about the apartment and locality. The apartment itself was clean and spacious and the kitchen and rooms were well equipped. There is a local supermarket a short distance away and frequent bus services into Como centre as the car parks fill up quickly. The views from the windows towards the lake and hills are fantastic. The washing machine wasn't working but Irina did offer to do our washing if needed. Irina was friendly and approachable. She had provided several guides to the local area that were useful.

Situated in Menaggio, 28 km from Exhibition Center Lugano, Foresteria Lago di Como features accommodation with a hot tub and a solarium. The property has lake and garden views, and is 6.1 km from Villa Carlotta. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. This accommodation was superb. Everything was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend you stay here. The host Ciara was exceptionally friendly and so so accommodating. The view was amazing. The breakfast was really good. The terrace with loungers and umbrellas and the jacuzzi were a wonderful added bonus. Some reviews mention the walk to town - we are in our late 60’s and for us it was no problem (15/20 minutes) and quite scenic. If you have a car it’s absolutely no problem to drive and park in town (we were there in late September). Menaggio is a lovely town and we found it to be a perfect place to explore locally or ferry to other towns on Lake Como. We loved our stay. Thank you Ciara - we would love to return and will definitely recommend you to our friends.

All units at the accommodation include air conditioning and a safety deposit box. The location was great, very quiet, and local. It was an easy 30min taxi/1.5h water ferry to Bellagio and there was lots of restaurants and things to do in the area. The room was fantastic. It had great finishes, was extremely clean, and had an incredible lake view. The staff were really friendly and helpful giving us lots of tips of things to do. They also helped us deal with a parking ticket we got so that we didn't have to spend our precious vacation time waiting in line at the post office to pay it. The breakfasts and dinners at the hotel restaurant was also great. The portions were big and the price/value ratio was perfect.
