We arrived and were lucky enough to get upgraded to a cabin lodge for part of our stay. Nao and the team were fantastic from start to finish. We were provided the most DELICIOUS 3 course breakfast every morning. Nao even lent my partner and I goggles for the snow which we forgot to hire. Nao made recommendations for the mountains/snow conditions each day and dinner recommendations. Upon check out we were dropped off to the bus station as well. We will definitely be back when we next come to Japan. Thank you Nao for an unforgettable stay!!

Taka and his wife have created a warm and welcoming environment, I can’t recommend this enough!

We loved staying at Tokiwa-Tei and enjoyed the warmest welcome from Keika and and all the staff during our time. Beautiful Japanese and Western breakfasts on offer every morning and amazing proximity to the Escal Plaza bus stop and Hakuba Goryu resort were just a few of many holiday highlights for us in Hakuba. Three of us stayed here for 5 days. We had the best time! The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable with great facilities, including a storage area for all of our ski and snowboard gear. There’s also a bus station right down the street that takes you to Iwatake (which you can then transfer to another bus that takes you to every resort.) The best part were the owners — they were so kind and welcoming even though we did not speak Japanese. They cooked us breakfast and dinner and both were so delicious. The chalet has an outdoor fireplace and a hot tub. Lovely and cosy lodge close to the action in Hakuba. All details were perfect. Loved the touch of the illustrated postcards left as a gift for each of our guests!
