Das Hakone Suimeiso liegt 3 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Hakone Yumoto und 15 Gehminuten vom Tempel Sounji entfernt. Everything was perfect. The view, the open air bath tub with river and hill view, the Japanese style room.

It truly was healing to our bodies that were a bit worn out from travel. Yes, stay here! We hope to stay longer next time. It was a little hard to find. Yet, a kind gentleman was watching out for us and directed us.

There’s a communal kitchen and living room for use as well as a private onsen that you can reserve. Hiro, the host, is very accommodating and will provide rides when needed. His English is really good and his sense of humour even better. His knowledge of the area and itinerary suggestions worked very well for us. We’d highly recommend the local izakaya 800m from his place.
