The hotel offers 5-star accommodation with a hot tub. The Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Plus they are very international so there is no language barrier. The room is amazing and the bed is super comfortable. Best of all is their breakfast - high quality too! I will chose to stay here again if I am back in Kyoto. A little tip - Just take a taxi from the train station to add on to the comfort...costs about a thousand yen.

Private parking is available on site. We simply love everything at this hotel. I honestly don't understand some bad reviews. The service was impeccable, the attention for the details as well. I stayed in a 5* hotel in Europe and don't even get close to what they offer. Close to the station, a few minutes walking and close to a nice bakery (Sizuya). Thanks we loved it.

The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable (not too hard, not too soft), toilet and shower are separated and there is a nice bathtub to relax after a long day of walking! Overall the place is well located and an easy walk to lots of attractions and connects well with the public transport. Overall, it’s a pretty good value for money

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The hotel is so beautiful and peaceful you almost don't want to leave. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had the shabu shabu dinner and 2 Japanese style breakfasts which were cooked right in front of us by the lovely staff who we really enjoyed talking to. The location was only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station but in a relatively quiet location, which was very much appreciated after the busy tourist spots of Kyoto. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be returning if we are ever in Kyoto again.
