Fantastic, homely place to stay. Fully equipped ‘house’, extremely clean and well presented and very comfortable. Best of all is the host, Megumi, who was super friendly, personable and helpful with local information. I was travelling solo but this would be a great place for a small group or family to stay. Great location for mountain climbing and city views. Room is big enough for a family of 4. Feel like staying home and cooking facilities are exceptionally easy to use and clean. Cooking seasonings are provided as well as thoughtful small stuff like nail clippers etc. Staff are nice,friendly and helpful with bus information. The highlights are free bikes and deep bath tub. Highly recommended this great place to stay for a few days.

The property was very clean and tidy, everything was so seamless and smooth without having to worry about the checkin procedure because the owner explained it to you clearly. The extra effort from the owner to try reach me through booking.com messages and whatsapp (it’s quite not normal of japanese to use whatsapp) and explain the check-in procedure. On top of that I left my chest heart monitor during my stay, and they gone all above and beyond to deliver it back to Tokyo through Kuroneko. A very good place to stay if you are on a budget, and their hospitality and prompt response is even faster than your normal 3-4 star hotel. Would definitely stay here again if I have the chance to come to Tokushima
