Der Ort ist so wunderbar, dass man eigentlich gar keinen Ausflug benötigt. Einen haben wir dennoch unternommen. The 5-star boutique resort is a 15-minute drive from the airport. Included in the room rate, Le Palais offers free beer and wine from 9 AM to 9 PM daily during your stay. The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes. The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil. The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax. Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.

Timeless elegance and breathtaking views of Mount Phousi—La Résidence Phou Vao is Luang Prabang’s most serene and storied royal retreat. The hotel is located on top of a hill overlooking Luang Prabang and used to be owned by the Lao Royal Family. It is beautifully laid out and furnished. The infinity pool in the centre overlooking the hills and then the large dining room, bar and reception area is amazing. Our room was very spacious with a large outdoor space for reading and enjoying the beautiful view. The bed was incredibly comfortable and d the lounge and bathroom area very large and comfortable. However incredible the property itself is , and it really is, it is over-shadowed by the team that run the hotel and work there. Everyone we met was warm, kind and genuinely thoughtful. This was a big expense for us for our 20th wedding anniversary so all of the optional tours and experiences were tricky for us to afford but we never felt at all pressured to spend money. Only given great advice and really taken care of. The team were very open and all talked to us about their lives in Laos so gave us a broader understanding of the country we were visiting. Finally - I need to mention the food. We love good food and are lucky to live in Japan so eat a lot of very good food. The restaurant at Residence Phou Vau is exceptional. Everything we eat was made with the highest quality fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. I tried to exercise every day so that I could eat more ;-)

I had a wonderful stay here. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the staff for their kindness. Even when I mistakenly thought I had already paid for my stay and caused trouble, they handled everything without any frustration or negative attitude. They also arranged transportation to the airport for me, and even helped me when I had trouble at the ATM. Their warm hospitality really saved me during my trip. Thank you so much for everything. I truly appreciate it.

Die Unterkunft Namkhan View Luangprabang Resort, die in Luang Prabang, 6,5 km von Nachtmarkt entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit kostenlosen Fahrrädern, einem kostenlosen... I loved staying here. At the beginning I thought it was going to be far from the center of town but they have a car and driver that can take you to town and back whenever you want. They also can pick you up from the train station. Amazing service! Staff was very nice, specially Aja the driver that we had those days (not sure how to write his name). The room was clean, mattress and bedsheets very comfortable, the bathroom was very big with a nice bath.

This hotel is impressive, i was afraid after reading the bad reviews. But the place is clean, cheap option, the staff is so helpful. And on the top of it they have a cheap washing machine! It is true that they dont speak Enlgish, but its Asia, they speak Chinese and they will do anything to help you, despite the language barrier, actually with translator we could communicate without problem. So recommended 10/10
