Wonderful house, we really liked it. Everything is very clean, the room has everything you need, from air conditioning and towels to a mini fridge. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable people, if necessary, they will help organize trips to local attractions: the house is located close to Sigeriya, Dambulla, Minneriya National Park. I would also like to note the restaurant on the territory - they cook delicious food and it is very cozy. We are glad that we chose this place in Habarana.

From the moment I made the booking, the team was in constant communication with me. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and the hospitality provided by Mr. Udaya and Mr. Gayan was exceptional. Janaka is THE host—truly exceptional in the hospitality scene in Sri Lanka. He is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home, while also being highly professional and attentive to all our needs. He went out of his way to help us plan our days in Mihintale exactly as we wished—and what he managed to organize for us was no small feat! He was also genuinely concerned for our safety throughout our stay: while Sri Lanka is a very safe country, his attentiveness was still much appreciated. The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka. If you're planning a trip to Anuradhapura or Mihintale to explore the sacred Buddhist sites, and you're looking for something authentic and off the tourist trail, stay in Mihintale. Kumara and his wife took really good care of us. Their place really is hidden in a lovely garden, with a nice pattio and hammocks under palm trees. The most special thing about this place is the food: it is organic and local (from the garden or the neighbours). Everyday you can try something else. The hosts offer cooking classes in a traditional mud hut. Additionaly Kumara showed us a lot of places: Rigitale Mountain, Sigiriya, Dambulla, but also some batik, jewelry and spice shops.

Still very good to reach by tuk tuk, by train: from Colombo to Jaffna stop Parasanfaswewa - railwaystation S. Titon. Etc. 5 minutes from busstop. From Anuradhapura busstation bus no 861. Stop Paradanjaswewa, Jambirija Swewa road. Or bus nr 161. Busstop Village Garden Inn, Ithalakotiyawrwa. More information to get from host 071-3121570 (0094). If you stay a week or more a kitchen can be used. Every day around 18.00 hours you can see elephants quite nearby at one of the thee lakes. 2 or 3 or 6. Very exiting. They come to drink water. Lovely stay in the jungle! We had a warm welcome at Bangalawa Resort. They arranged all the excursions we wanted to do within some minutes. We stayed one complete day chilling at their pool! Nice location not far from the lake and the elephant park! We had a nice dinner and the breakfasts offered every moring were the best we have haddd ! Thank you so much!

Excellent stay, very nice area and super helpful stuff. I would definitely come back again if I would look for a hotel in Anuradhapura.

White House Hotel Anuradhapura is a like five stars in hospitality, including rooms, food, location, premises and staff. The restaurant offers a delicious set menu and a buffet with local and international food. Reserve half board/breakfast and dinner, or have breakfast included. The breakfast buffet with fresh omelettes, juice and some sri lankan foods was a highlight. I also enjoyed a delicious dinner by the pool with a special menu, which I highly recommend. The views of the mountain and stupa and anuradhapura city, and I mean it, are truly stunning. The pools are perfectly maintained, and the staff is helpful and happy. The pools are great, and one has a bar. The pools are good for swimming and there are a kids pool The hotel offers a perfect blend of convenience and tranquillity, ensuring a memorable stay. I stayed in their Honeymoon Room and It was wonderful I would like to recommend this room all of married couples for a one day in life. I look forward to returning soon!
