Sehr schönes Hotel mit tollem Pool und fantastischer Aussicht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sanjeeva hat sehr lecker für uns gekocht und als wir abreisen wollten, um den Zug nach Ella zu bekommen und gerettet. Unser Taxi kam nicht und er hat uns sehr schnell zwei Tuktuks organisiert, so dass wir den Zug noch geschafft haben. Vielen Dank!

Where do I even start? The owners and their helper are some of the most hospitable, helpful, and genuinely kind people I have ever met. I stayed with them both before and during the cyclone, and honestly, I don't know how I would have gotten through it without them. Even with no water or electricity, they made sure we had food, clean water, and anything else we needed. They treated every guest like family. Every morning they’d check in with the biggest smiles, always ready to help or share stories. They’re incredibly knowledgeable, so proud of their country, and genuinely interested in every single person who stays with them. At one point they said, “You are all our sons and daughters,” and they meant it. And the home itself? Stunning. I stayed in the deluxe room and felt like an absolute princess. The bed was super comfy, the room was huge and beautifully decorated, and the balcony overlooked jackfruit and coconut trees. The house sits up on a peaceful hill—about a 30-minute walk or a quick 7-minute tuk-tuk to the city centre—and it is so worth it for the quiet and the views. The owners also have great connections and can arrange pretty much anything: transfers, day trips, excursions… they even ordered dinner in for me one night. They make everything so easy. And of course, their angel dog Bella only makes the whole experience sweeter. Despite staying through literally the worst cyclone in Sri Lanka’s recent history, I’m leaving this homestay with such a positive experience — and that is 100% because of the owners and their helper. This place is truly special.

The breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated the free refillable water, the lovely pool, and that both the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. There’s also a laundry service available. The location is very quiet and peaceful—just a bit further from the city center, but definitely worth it for the relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

The host, Sarath, and his staff were exceptional. Breakfast was so good, I didn't eat lunch. I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone that's looking for a relaxing time surrounded by nature.
