The food, the hospitality, the help, the room everything was just right. We got to the hotel about 1pm and asked if we could do the afternoon safari at 2. no problem whatsoever. We saw a heard of elephants with the babies feeding and the whole family interacting. Never normally stay in a hotel for the evening but had dinner there and it was amazing. same with breakfast, would highly recommend.

Dasoon is the best. He took care of my family as if we were his family. He arranged a great safari and coordinated taxis and logisics. The food we ate there was the best we had in Sri Lanka.

Das Green View Safari Resort liegt 8 km vom Nationalpark Udawalawe entfernt und bietet einen Grill sowie Gartenblick. The resort in itself was very comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were very accommodating to all our requests, especially to our vegan preferences. They even prepared and gave us packed vegan breakfast at 5.30 a.m., just before we started off for our safari trip. The host upgraded our room to a bigger unit (since our booked room was undergoing renovation). The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was especially clean and spotless. It even had a full bathtub. We enjoyed the resort. Wished we could have stayed longer in the resort. This was the best resort we stayed in our Sri Lanka trip. Thank you for hosting us.

The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We did the safari at the hotel and it was amazing. Our driver was very good and we saw a lot of elephants up close. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

Absolutely amazing, truly one of a kind place. It’s more than a stay, it’s an experience. The location is simply breathtaking, tucked deep in the rainforest, high up on a hill, and only accessible via an an off-road drive in a 4x4 vehicle provided by the villa. We took a guided tour to the Sinharaja rainforest from the property, but just staying in the villa felt just as special. The food was exceptional, prepared on-site by local staff using fresh, organic local ingredients. Without a doubt, these were the best meals we had during our three weeks in Sri Lanka. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented in the most stunning setting. I highly recommend not only breakfasts, but also lunches and dinners in the villa, they were amazing. Our 6 and 9 years old enjoyed it as much as my wife and I did. The swimming pool is another highlight. Clear, well maintained, and offering a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. It was the perfect way to unwind and cool off after a rainforest hike. We arrived not knowing exactly what to expect, but the villa far exceeded our expectations. If we had more time before our flight back home, we would definitely extend our stay. An unforgettable experience.

The place was stunning, the people were charming, the food was great…..we really enjoyed all the activities. Definitely worth a visit

Mein Aufenthalt in der 84 Udawalawe Cabana war einfach großartig! Die Lage ist perfekt nur etwa 1 km zu Fuß vom Elephant Transit Home entfernt, das ein echtes Highlight meines Besuchs war. Die Cabana ist brandneu, sehr sauber und äußerst komfortabel. Besonders begeistert war ich vom Whirlpool ideal zum Entspannen nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag. Das Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich, genau das Richtige für einen guten Start in den Tag. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann die 84 Udawalawe Cabana wärmstens empfehlen ein toller Ort zum Wohlfühlen in der Nähe des Udawalawe-Nationalparks!
