The beach, hotel was clean, good breakfast, the place. But in summer season its very crowded. If you dont like music and lots of people than its not your place.

In times when 5-star hotels only distinguish themselves from the competition by their location, their design and maybe some facilities, but hardly focus on really good service anymore, the Merit Starlit seems to be from another - good old - time. Honest hospitality is the top priority here and that in all departments, from reception to the accommodation manager services and of course the restaurant, where we were served breakfast by a lady who really knew her trade... I have never experienced such unpretentious hospitality before. "Trivialities" such as the best location, high-quality furnishings, pleasant room sizes etc. are of course also fulfilled. To summarize, the Merit Starlit is definitely the best house in Budva and probably one of the best in Montenegro.

I liked everthing about this apartment. The views from the balcony and roof are fantastic. It is extremely clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable, shower excellent and the washing machine was very very helpful for my trip. Also, the Netflix in the apartment was most welcome - especially as a solo traveller. I recommend staying here. Host is also excellent and a nice fella.

During the 5 days we were told on a daily basis what city to visit, places to visit, etc. she helped us a lot.
