All units at the resort come with air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a bidet, free toiletries and a hairdryer. All rooms will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. We've spent a week on the island, in the end of December including Christmas. This was a very good time to visit the resort, as there are a number of festive activities including Santa's visit and presents for kids, Christmas dinner and lunch and some other singing and dancing events. Get a beach villa, as it is closer to restaurant and bar area, has its own beach and small terrace and safer for kids. Very important, villas on north-west side of the island are much better - the beach is bigger, wider, has less sharp corals and most importantly - almost no waves and wind. Other sides of the island are much more windy and the beaches are shallow and surrounded by wave splitters. Villas 415-430 are the best places on the island. Resort is quite new (built in 2022), so everything is looking great, staff is making sure that everything is clean and well-maintained, beaches are all nice and sharp corals are being removed from the sand almost daily. Villas are also looking great, cleaned daily, if needed. The AC is very quiet and keeps the villa as cool as you'd like it to without blowing directly to your neck. Wi-Fi is relatively ok, streaming is blocked, but video calling works effortlessly. Restaurant is spacious, so even though the resort was full we always found a place to sit. Choice of meals is pretty big, separate sections for Indian and International cuisine + an Asian corner with dishes from Maldives, Indonesia, China, etc. Choice of desserts is pretty big as well. Bar area is surprisingly nice, with great pool, big set of sun beds (never had to search for a free one) and a small beach. Bar is serving drinks and cocktails, and you can ask for a cocktails even if it's not on the list of free ones. During evenings the bar area is the usual place for events, live music and overall buzz. Shout to an excellent live band, you are amazing :)! The resort is fantastic - even better than the pictures. The staff is so welcoming and friendly from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. We were greeted by a lovely Italian lady Iman, who gave us a run down of everything we need to know and an extensive tour of the island. They have golf cart services to take you to and from your villa which is really nice. The bar has great ambience at night, and delicious cocktails included in our package. The waiters are so polite and attentive. The room comes with a beach bag which you can keep afterwards so would recommend not to pack one for your trip Contrary to other reviews, we thought the food was great! Considering its buffet style, there was many options to pick from. Delicious and large variations of salads, lots of beef and chicken too. We also stayed for 7 nights, so that included a free dinner at an a la carte restaurant of our choice. We chose the fish restaurant which was a 10/10, dining over the water and overlooking the sharks and mantas!! Our package also included a fishing tour and free kayaking as well as the use of snorkeling equipment everyday! Special thanks to Naveen from housekeeping who came in twice a day to keep our villa nice and clean. His hospitality and kindness made all the difference. We loved our stay at Villa Nautica and have already recommended it to friends and family! Things to consider would be the speedboat round trip fee of $170 per person and green tax $12 per person/per night

Built with wooden materials, Royal Island’s villas feature a private patio with sitting area and views of the Indian Ocean. Each room has a TV and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Island is stunning and a 30 minute walk around so big enough to stretch your legs. Accommodation is clean and comfortable and well equipped. Buffet restaurant is amazing and there is something for everyone. Staff are friendly and helpful and always smiling. Reef is badly bleached due to global warming but snorkelling is still fantastic. You will see so many different fish and even sharks (young) and turtles. Island is striving to be eco friendly and no plastic bottles anywhere! Solar will be introduced soon. Activities are over priced and therefore under used. $900 for a 20 minute flight to the nearby island from Male is a rip off.

The Villa very comfortable with great space. You have 2 beach chairs at the beach exclusive for you.
One peculiar thing is the bathroom that do not have air conditioning. There is a small garden on it and part of the celling is open. Is different, but for us worked well.
Just a reminder to always ask to the room staff to fumigate every day to avoid insects. The breakfast is amazing. All kind of good food.
We have a huge variety of food: breads, cheeses, juices, yogurts, sweets, hot dishes, cold dishes, etc. A balcony where you can order fresh omelets, pancakes, waffles, etc. The structure is great, there several restaurants, bars, activities (jet ski, kayak, snorkel, etc), fitness center, etc.
The staff is outstanding, all employees polite and always ready to assist you.
When you arrive, a concierge is assigned to you. Through the whataspp, you can ask him all type of requests: book activities, restaurant reservation, or any kind of request you need/want. They will do everything to assist you. Our concierge was Saadin. Very polite and competent. He definitely maximize our experience in Jawakara resort.
There is some videos on the internet showing the Jawakara facilities, you can trust on these videos. If you go to Maldives, you can choose Jawakara. You won’t regreat.

The resort offers a wide variety of restaurants and bars, such as Takari, Andalucia, Wahoo Grill, Madevian Restaurant, Together, Jungali, and Good Vibrations. We indulged in their excellent food quality, and each venue had a delightful atmosphere, especially in the evenings. Overall, our experience was truly exceptional, and we were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our stay. The resort team's attention to detail and commitment to providing a memorable experience were outstanding. There is an interesting incident that is worth mentioning. Due to bad weather, our domestic flight from the local island Mafaaru was delayed, leaving us with very little time to catch our international flight, just around 85 minutes (with only 15 minutes remaining for check-in time to close). Fortunately, Mr. Faris and their colleagues from the resort, efficiently handled our situation. They acted swiftly, taking charge to bypass waiting time of airport bus and luggage receiving, and guided us quickly to the boarding line. To our relief, Mr. Faris's colleague was holding the line for us to check-in, allowing us to board for international airplane in less than 5 minutes. Thanks to their efforts, we managed to catch our international flight on time.
