Dieses Hotel liegt direkt an der Skipiste am Bergplateau Hardangervidda und nur 2 km vom Bahnhof Geilo entfernt. There is always something to do. We are a family of 4 with two boys under 11. There was never a moment when they were bored. Either learning to ski for the first time or simply play in the snow there was so many fun activities outside. If they chose to remain indoors they could play in the most amazing indoor pool with a water slide or go bowling, or be in the game room where there was a pool table and table tennis. For us parents we always felt safe having the children run around doing their activities and allowed us to spend some quality time together. The food was amazing. The breakfast spread was healthy and fresh and a very large variety. No junk food at all. We actually had dinner in the restaurant every evening and between the A La Carte menu or the Daily menu we had wonderful options. There was a kids buffet every night. It was only a 20 minute walk to Geilo if we needed groceries or shopping. There was also a Husky sleigh ride just a 10 minute walk from the resort. Should also mention that the gym and spa was top notch. It was our first ever ski trip but we are already looking at when we will return to Vestlia again.

Communication with the host was excellent – quick and helpful. The cabin itself was stunning, with a fantastic layout that made it feel both spacious and cozy. The outdoor area was a real highlight, with a large terrace, lovely views, and a relaxing jacuzzi – perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The location was ideal for exploring Geilo.. 1909 Sportsbar er en naturlig møteplass for å se sport på storskjerm. Her er det muligheter for jubelscener kombinert med god mat og noe i glasset. Ein sehr charmantes Hotel mit vielen Möglichkeiten sich zu verweilen . Die Bar bietet ein sehr schönes Ambiente welches mich an die 50er Jahren Einrichtung erinnert. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend mit feinen Speisen und Getränken und oben drauf ein sehr nettes Personal im Allgemeinen. Sehr zu empfehlen wer noch der ältere Stil mag und doch alles Tip Top ist. Das Frühstück war fantastisch!
