From the moment we arrived, Hotel Ullensvang felt like stepping into a dream. Nestled between majestic fjords and snow-capped mountains, the location alone is worth the trip — but what truly makes it extraordinary is the warmth and attention to detail from the entire team.
The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer breathtaking views that change with the light of day. Waking up to the sight of the fjord was pure magic. The infinity pool overlooking the water is simply spectacular, and the wellness facilities are spotless, serene, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
Breakfast and dinner were both exceptional, with fresh, local ingredients and a variety that caters to every taste — all served in a dining room with panoramic views. The staff went above and beyond to make every moment special, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask.
Hotel Ullensvang is more than just a place to stay — it’s an experience of comfort, beauty, and Norwegian hospitality at its finest. I cannot recommend it enough, and I’m already planning my return.

The hotel is perfect to anybody planning to hike Trolltunga, right at the feet of the mountain. It is also 10 minutes by car to Odda which have most restaurants in the area. The jacuzzi and the sauna are clean, very relaxing after a hike. The staff is also amazing and very helpful! If you have no gear for the hike, you can rent from the hotel (the gear was perfectly fine, very comfortable boots.

I couldn't imagine a more perfect location. So peaceful, and absolutely stunning views all around. The cabin was incredibly well supplied and extremely clean. the hosts were above and beyond helpful and friendly. Cant wait to go back!

Beds were super comfy, everything super clean, breakfast with a lot of quality, super helpful and always available staff. I wish the management a lot of success, they work really hard and you can tell.

We were quite pleased with this hotel.
The room has its own bathroom, kitchen available (although it could really be better equipped!), very nice area with view on the Fjord and a garden with some relaxing spots.
Beds are comfortable and the hotel is equipped also with a sauna which we used.
Beautiful road to place and surrounding was great. Peace and quite. Check in and check out was very easy. Room was clean. Lounge on 1st floor was worth to visit.
Reasonably grand feel to the hotel with lovely staff. Panoramic views from the grounds and dining areas over the fjord are breathtaking.
Rooms are spacious. Wide choice with buffet breakfast.

Very nice classic styled hotel with modern bathroom, enjoyable swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The dining room and breakfast buffet are clearly scaled for large groups. Direct access from the train station platform.
