Die Unterkunft Shuvatara Suites & Spa, Thamel, die in Kathmandu, 1,8 km von Hanuman Dhoka entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Terrasse, einem kostenlosen... Alles! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Frühstück war sehr gut! Die Preise im Restaurant nicht höher als in anderen Touristen Restaurants. Ich bin am Abreisetag leider mit Fieber aufgewacht und ich konnte spontan ohne Aufpreis länger im Zimmer bleiben und schlafen, bis wir zum Flughafen abgeholt wurden! Dafür bin ich sehr dankbar! Meine Schwiegermutter meinte sie habe dort die beste Ayuvedische Massage gehabt, die sie je hatte. Der Spa war auch sehr schön. Man könnte hier neben der stündlichen Abrechnung noch eine Tagespauschale einführen. Aber das ist kein Kritikpunkt sondern eher eine Idee. Vielen Dank nochmal für den tollen Aufenthalt!

This property exceeded our expectations. It was our favorite stay in Nepal! The staff are extremely proactive from the time you arrive, to arranging outings, and assisting in the restaurant. The restaurant had the best buffet breakfast of any place we stayed- fresh and great variety. The rooms are lovely and the window to view the hills and mountains is a bonus.

We stayed at the presidential suite, the room was big and very very nice. The view from the room was great. Everything in the room was of high quality. It's a very nice hotel with amazing hospitality.

Das Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, in jeder Hinsicht. Das Hotel ist wie eine Oase der Ruhe inmitten des chaotischen Trubels von Kathmandu. Den Durbar Square erreicht man besser mit dem Taxi. Der Portier am Eingang hilft gerne, ein preiswertes Taxi zu bestellen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel Ein Hotel, das man in jeglicher Hinsicht für ein paar Tage Aufenthalt in Kathmandu empfehlen kann.

Sehr nah am Pashupati Tempel und am Airport, beides fußläufig erreichbar. Dachterrasse ist auch sehr nett. Essen ist auch sehr gut. Gerne wieder!

The location is perfect, and the reception area is beautifully designed — truly impressive from an architectural point of view. My room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the restaurant not only served a good breakfast but also has an amazing view, which makes dining even more enjoyable. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would especially like to recognize Khushbu and Ranjana at the reception — they went above and beyond to assist me. They not only arranged an early check-in but also helped with urgent photocopies and even found a nearby studio through their workmate’s reference when I needed documents for my embassy travel NOC.Their professionalism and warmth truly made a difference. Overall, Arya Hotel & Spa combines great facilities with outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended — and a special thanks again to Ranjana and Khushbu for their amazing support!

I stayed at this hotel for one night before my flight out of Kathmandu. The hotel has only recently opened, so the menu is still limited and there isn't a full restaurant yet. However, there’s a cozy café on the ground floor where you can buy fresh pastries and enjoy a really good coffee. In the morning, they prepared breakfast for me — an omelet, toast, and fruit. It was all very tasty! The room was excellent — everything was new, clean, and very comfortable. I was especially pleased with the friendly and attentive staff. Overall, it’s a great option to stay.

The location is perfect – peaceful yet conveniently close to key attractions and public transport. The room was cozy and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I needed to feel at home. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and the comfortable bed – I had one of the best night’s sleep in a long time! The free Wi-Fi and breakfast were also great perks, offering a good start to the day. The hosts were very responsive and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay. Whether it was local recommendations or helping with transportation, they made the whole experience seamless. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and affordable place to stay. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area!
