All the amenities were functioning and excellently maintained. The room size was superb. The apartment's location was excellent. The hot tub and sauna were really nice. There were plenty of nice restaurants , convenience stores and attractions nearby. Parking was available and convenient. The staff members were attentive and helpful and gave us some great tips for sightseeing and shopping.

The location was easy to find and really quiet. Our accommodation had a full kitchen and the nearest supermarket was 3km in town

Apparently the rooms were renovated 5 years ago but they are still spotless. Real quality in the kitchen, wonderful comfortable bed and the first bathroom on our trip that didn’t have some sort of issue, in fact it was super. Great location, super friendly and helpful hosts , I doubt there’s much better comfort and value in Okakune .

Very cute tiny house set in a rural setting very close to Taumarunui. The deck is sunny and private, and the wood fired hot tub is a lovely addition. While the interior is small, the connecting indoor/outdoor area is roomy and keeps lovely and warm with the heater. A lovely place to stop for a night, and the owner is very attentive and responsive.
