Als je denkt dat je alles hebt gehad, is er zelfs nog een Ierse pub / man cave om even lekker te chillen. Absolute aanrader!

St Leonards Vineyard Cottages beschikt over een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad en biedt accommodatie in Blenheim met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. It all starts with the lovely, tucked away location just 5 mins from Blenheim town Center and right in the middle of all the vineyards. The cottages are beautifully built and maintained and are equipped with all the amenities one can think off. The place is very peaceful and perfect for “slowing down life”. We spent a lovely evening drinking wine on the deck and relaxing near the fire place in our cottage as the evening grew colder - was perfect! The animals on the property are a huge bonus, especially for animal lovers and kids - we spent a lot of time with them. The breakfast items provided by Sharon in the room were great. Overall we loved our stay and will surely recommend this place to anyone travelling to the Marlborough region and is looking for quaint luxury.

Nice kitchen area to prep for lunch or dinner. Beautiful landscaped grounds.

Lochmara Lodge - 20mins by boat from Picton bevindt zich in Lochmara Bay en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een bar. Upon hearing about the prospect of staying at Lochmara Lodge upon arrival at Picton from North Island, we jumped at the opportunity. Definitely no regrets, as although the lodge is not high end, everything else makes up for it. This was one of our top highlight stays across 5 weeks in New Zealand! We felt so welcomed by staff, before and during our stay! Prior to booking, all questions, including transport via water taxi, were quickly and diligently answered. Upon arrival at the water taxi, we were warmly greeted and helped by staff to ensure a swift check-in ahead of schedule, and the same was experienced upon arrival. The place is set deep in the Marlborough Sounds, and it offered the most amazing scenery and nature all around. It was breathtaking, especially as the sun set and first thing in the morning. The fact that it cannot be reached by car made it extra special and unique. We had two rooms, one water facing and one facing the back-end (this room was perhaps a bit sad). The room was small, quite simple but we did not spend much time inside, as there was so much else to do! We loved the chill and vibe of the place, and the level of activities available to us during our stay. We did hiking, the feeding time activities with the pigs, goats, birds etc on site (we loved the insight provided with all), kayaking, paddle boarding, the games and general relaxation. We also visited the underwater observatory - which was super interesting - and great interaction and insight into the creatures of the New Zealand waters. The restaurant offered an all-day service, including breakfast and dinner for us overnight house guests. The staff was always friendly and welcoming, and the food and drinks were of a high quality. I think we could have easily done a third night at this place, and it provided such a great introduction to what more to come during our time on the South Island.

Blenheim Spa Motor Lodge ligt op slechts 5 minuten lopen van het centrum van de stad en biedt moderne accommodatie met airconditioning, een flatscreen-tv en meer dan 50 satellietzenders. The property was clean and comfortable everything you needed in them room, the owner was polite and helpful.

Firkins Retreat, Picton heeft uitzicht op de zee, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon en een waterkoker, op 19 minuten lopen van Picton Memorial Park Beach. We couldn’t believe our luck walking up the stairs to see the house and view for the first time! Firkins Retreat is truly a retreat. Great amenities including a full kitchen and outdoor spa (which has a great view while you’re in it!) and we were amazed at how well considered and private it is. Brad was very responsive and friendly too. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Small Bay Peaceful Beach. Great Fishing Boating Oysters ligt in Ohingaroa en heeft accommodatie met airconditioning en een balkon. Deze vakantiewoning heeft een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. Very quiet and peaceful location. Quite handy to Picton and bays along the way. Hot tub was prepared for us and quite a bonus. Welcomed and shown the facilities by a local for the owner.

Je kan het niet bedenken of het is aanwezig. De jacuzzi is wel een topper. Hij is altijd warm en werkt eenvoudig. De badkamer is heel luxe, het bed ligt heerlijk en de elpee' s zijn een bijzondere aanvulling. Het balkon met uitzicht is fantastisch! Verrassend zijn de wandelpaden die vanuit het appartement starten. Het is een genot om hier te verblijven.
