Each room is fitted with a terrace with pool views. The staff were wonderful. The rooms were clean and perfectly positioned poolside. The breakfast and dinners were delicious. The best part for me was the upstairs chill area , somewhere to escape if the sun gets too hot or the rain comes over, I read my book up there and was so chilled and comfortable, the owner kindly brought me a free coffee over too which was a lovely touch.

The rooms are of exceptional standard, for cleanliness, attention to detail, comfort, large rooms, and the bathrooms are the best I have seen in any venue in Philippines, or my travels across China over the years. And hot showers ! 😊 Rival the big name hotels easily! . The restaurant is great, wide variety of meals and great value. The staff are friendly, helpful and always ready to assist if needed. The Resort is very peaceful, I could only hear the sound of nature which is what I was looking for. Sound proofing of the room is great, lots of space, a private jacuzzi, nice pool, and good drinks prepared by the lovely staff. They helped me to get very good guides/drivers for our excursions, including private boat and car, and a scooter to reach the best locations in 10 minutes rides. Although they do have a pretty good restaurant, they pointed at other places to go try in the neighborhood and the suggestions were great. Perfect for a romantic holiday.

Every single staff member goes out of their way to anticipate your needs, they are the friendliest people in the world. The owners are absolutely incredible and took time to get to know us. they are so so accommodating and went out of their way to make my moms birthday extremely special. the property itself is absolutely amazing. extremely quiet, clean, beautiful, and the view is one of the best I’ve seen! the food is delicious and the massage that we each had for 1 hour was the best massage I’ve had during my 4 months in Asia. don’t hesitate to book this hotel!! you won’t regret it. The lodge offers a hot tub. We had a wonderful stay at Grand Cabins in Panglao! The place is run by the loveliest couple, who make you feel welcome from the very first moment. They truly care about their guests and share fantastic insider tips on what to see and do around Panglao – from hidden beaches to local food spots. Their two adorable dogs add an extra touch of warmth to the atmosphere! The location is perfect: very central and only about 5 minutes from town, yet set slightly away from the main road, which makes it wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The rooms are very clean, hygienic, and equipped with comfortable beds and AC, ensuring a relaxing stay. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful pool with jacuzzi function – ideal for cooling off or unwinding after a day of exploring. If you book breakfast, you’re in for a treat! It’s delicious and gives you a taste of traditional Filipino cuisine to start your day right. We highly recommend Grand Cabins to anyone looking for comfort, warm hospitality, and a personal touch. Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, pool view and a terrace, Alf's Guesthouse is located in Panglao. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. The pool was a real highlight for us. We used it a lot. The room was exceptionally clean, had adequate space and nicely decorated. Of course, you are not alone on the property but we rarely saw our neighbours and when we did, they were super friendly so we felt very comfortable there. We enjoyed being away from the heave of Alona Beach but close enough to eat there if we wanted. I would certainly stay here again. It was great value for money.
