This beautiful small hotel is a jewel. The location is wonderful and the property is a mini-botanical garden right next to the one that gives it it's name (dos Cantos). The staff are superb; cheerful and accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. Fabio and Miriam assisted us in many ways with suggestions for outings, making reservations, helping plan routes and answering any questions we might have. There was staff on-hand 24 hours per day. Both the rooms and the public spaces show off the lovely features of the hotel. We wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending the Solar Dos Cantos to travellers to Ponta Delgada.

Everything was better than our expectations. The apartment was delicious and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and even more. The pool was so nice and enjoyable as the garden. The air conditioning was a great feature in August. The host is super kind and disposable. Last but not least the breakfast was incredible. We really can’t wait every day to get up and taste the delicious food they serve.

Appartments are new, very clean. hotel staff is very friendly and contacted me from before for the door codes and breakfast for the following day since we wentinside after the check in time. hotel has a garage which is free to use. there is also a small gym/suana /pool/ jakutsi to be used free of charge. Appartments are very big in size and equipped with everything one would need (even a clothes washing machine). Bfast is also very good and big in portions.

Beautiful and peaceful place, Jacuzzi and an outdoor pool, lots of birds and animals, very spacious, the owners are so nice and helpful, they sent us a lot of tips for our trip and we could always ask them questions.
