Lucky enough to meet the proprietors and understand the ethos. Stunning rooms and great restaurant. Had the dorado which was cooked perfectly. On the main square but parking close by. Help with luggage was offered and gratefully accepted. The tip to see the Convent of Christ after checkout was worth. Go early to miss the crowds. It’s quite exceptional.

We were initially slightly hesitant booking a tent during autumn / winter, but the facilities and amenities made the whole experience amazing ! Some rooms feature spacious furnished balconies with panoramic city views. The transformation from hospital to hotel is fantastic; the highlight a spacey atrium with fantastic light. Our room was big and very comfortable. The breakfast buffé huge and of really good quality. There are lots of parking on the hotel grounds and the hotel is situated a short walk from the centre of Viseu. Recommended.

They are classically furnished with a spacious living area. From their private balconies or terraces they either offer views of the ocean or of the golf course. Everything. Staff was super friendly and indoor pool was nice because the weather wasnt that warm.
