Beautiful place if you are traveling in north Portugal and the huge plus is the 3 minutes walk from the hotel to the adventure park. Hotel is lovely with an amazing outdoor pool, great service, option for a chef dinner that we enjoyed. we took the suite room and the only issue with that is the bed, which was too soft for us and not really comfortable. Area is so green and great for hiking.

Our stay at Casa do Rio was truly perfect, beginning with the exceptional service provided by Gonçalo and his team. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel special on our honeymoon. The location is breathtaking, and no photos can truly capture its beauty. The food at the restaurant was the best we’ve experienced in Portugal so far, and the wines offered a wonderful introduction to this remarkable wine region. What an amazing view, kind and helpful staff and lovely grounds. Breakfast was wonderful, great dinner options within walking distance.

Daniella was a superb host. Nothing was too much trouble and was available to help if needed. The room was exceptional with a beautiful terrace looking over the wonderful landscape. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very nice. There was even an extra room separate from the bedroom to sit comfortably. Can't fault the accommodation at all and a good selection for breakfast with homemade jams and cakes.

A really luxury, beautiful place to stay... (I wish I had stayed more than one night). Very dog friendly. Amazing facilities and breakfast. Great English speaking owner. Short walk into lovely town with bars, restaurants etc.
