Seriously, I wasn't impressed with bucharest but this hotel spa in the mountains blew my socks off! Travel to a different country every 2 weeks, and I'd say in winter time this is the best hotel I've ever been to! I'll be flying back to Romania at some point specifically to stay here

We absolutely had a lovely stay in this hotel. The newly renovated rooms were a great surprise, spacious and spotless with a very comfortable bed. We especially enjoyed the spa services; sauna, jacuzzi and heated pools with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The location was ideal as it is very near to the Cantacuzino Castle and was just a short walk from train station but far enough from the main streets that the hotel was a quiet, peaceful oasis. We will definitely be back!

The accommodation was cozy, spotless clean, properly warmed, equipped with everything we needed for a weekend trip. The owner is not only polite, but helpful and friendly. The view was impressive, breathtaking. We enjoyed a barbecue lunch in the garden and roasted fish brought from a nearby trout farm which was enchanting.
