The location is beautiful, in the small village of Kosec near Kobarid. The breakfasts were very generous and delicious, with hot and cold foods, fresh fruit. We enjoyed dinner here one night - a lovely evening on the main patio overlooking the mountains with delicious homemade local cuisine, cooked by the mom. The room is appropriately not fancy, but it is clean and comfortable and just spacious enough. Sitting on our own private patio enjoying wine while looking at the mountains was infinitely relaxing! And they directed us to the local trail, an easy 1 1/2 hour hike, which was beautiful with many waterfalls! Great advice!!

Plus, it’s just a short walk to the town center and Napoleon’s bridge. Parking is free and convenient. Our host was super friendly and incredibly helpful, making our stay even better!
