Great location: the resort is situated on the quiet side of the island (turning left from the ferry pier), yet it’s not far from the ferry. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. The facilities are excellent. We love the fact that the swimming pool has no closing time. It means we could still enjoy a dip after a long day exploring the island. The view from the pool is also impressive, a perfect spot to unwind. Stargazing from the pool is highly recommended. Did I mention the 24/7 fridge at the pool bar? You can grab drinks anytime you like, and they’ll sort it out later. There are also kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and other beach toys available free of charge. The family room we stayed in was great too. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The large balcony at the front was a big plus, especially when traveling as a group like ours. All in all, if you’re looking for a quiet place where you can truly relax, I would highly recommend Sunrise Beach Resort.

Le Klong Prao Resort est situé le long de la plage de sable blanc, sur l'île de Koh Chang. This was our second stay in this resort. What I liked about this resort? Pretty much everything. We booked 3 beach front villas and although fully booked they managed to give us all three villas next to each other. Villas are new, modern, spacious, I have never seen a bed that large its like two king beds together. Each villa has its own wifi router which is great. There is a shower and a bath tub in each villa and that is also great. The views are just amazing, breakfast is top, so many choices. We have stayed there 9 nights last year and 7 nights this year and had no problems getting different food every day. Staff is friendly and helpful. They remodeled the pool since last year, its twice the size it was with a very nice surrounding and a beach bar. Klong Prao beach is just beautiful, no rocks, just sand. Many restaurants, shops etc. withing walking distance. But its best to rent a scooter and than you can go anywhere. You can park you scooter comfortably next to your villa or in one of many parking places throughout the resort. There was considerably less russians this year than there was last year which was definitely a plus. There is also a shop directly in the resort which has prices similar to 7-11 and sells beer all day long (unlike 7-11).

The most perfect place to stay on Koh Chang! The Koh Chang Luxury Pool Villas are part of a small development owned by three different companies, each offering villas finished to very different standards. Having stayed with all three, I can confidently say that Luxury Pool Villas wins by a mile! The villas are genuinely luxurious and impeccably maintained. When our AC stopped working, Khun Mod had it fixed within minutes — amazing service! It’s the small details that make these villas stand out. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable, self-catered stay is provided — even soap and shampoo, which can be surprisingly rare in Thailand. You can tell the owner has stayed here themselves and thought of everything. We used the in-house team a couple of times during our 5-night stay, and even on the days we didn’t request cleaning, they still left fresh water and towels — a lovely touch. The price point is incredible too: where else can you get your own private villa, pool, and poolside bar for under £80 a night? The huge TV kept our kids entertained after long beach days, and the whole experience was just effortless from start to finish. A huge thank you to Khun Mod and her team for making our stay so wonderful. Highly recommended!
