The property has garden views and is 24 km from Lava Tree State Monument and 45 km from Pana'Ewa Rainforest Zoo. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and full-day security for guests. Our host Houston was super friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the local area. A very special place to stay - close to the beach, very remote, sleep with the sound of nature and a lovely hot tub to boot.

Ocean View Paradise is a calm oasis and a great home base to some of the greatest beaches in this world and volcano national Park. There are also supermarkets, restaurants and food trucks close by as well as coffee plantations for your morning coffee. We will come back if we can!

Featuring a balcony, each unit is air conditioned and features a dining area and a seating area with a cable flat-screen TV. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hair dryer, units at the bed and breakfast also feature free WiFi. Guests can grab a bite to eat in an outdoor dining area at the bed and breakfast. Orchid tree is exceptionally beautiful, totally solar powered with a beautiful pool, hot tub and landscaping, a large lanai for relaxing and the room is truly large with lounge able furniture , pristine clean. Many places we’ve stayed give you pictures that don’t really represent the place when you arrive. However orchid tree is wonderful as are the hosts, both friendly and responsive ! Breakfast was just fine with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and a good selection of Juices , breads, cream cheese, etc as well as freshly ground coffee. (Plenty for us but if you are an egg type there’s always places in town). But the lanai, the waves crashing, the superb coffee, we didn’t need more!

Located 17 km from Kilauea, Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant offers 3-star accommodation in Volcano and features a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. The property is situated 38 km from Pana'Ewa Rainforest Zoo, 42 km from University Of Hawaii, Hilo and 44 km from The Pacific Tsunami Museum. The inn has a hot tub and luggage storage space. We stayed at the Lodge for 3 nights and fall in love immediately. The staff was very friendly, the room was absolutely cute and perfectly cleaned and the dinner at the Lodge was excellent (you should try the Volcanoes wine made in the area!). Drinking water and parking were for free. The location was great, since we were there for hiking in the Volcanoes National Park, which is only 5-10 mins drive away. You can use the fire place in the common area for free and enjoy a relaxing evening. There is no TV in the room, which we loved. Time to talk and read a book. A rain forest nature trail belongs to the Lodge's area as well.

A furnished balcony with garden or golf course views is also featured. Amazing huge 2 floor apartment, nicely decorated, extremely well equipped, beautiful surroundings, great location. Perfect!
