De grote kamer is erg mooi ingericht, en ruim. Zeer goed schoongemaakt. Uitzicht bij de klif met de stoelen is een ware grote plus. Ga je als gezin, dan zijn de kamers niet naast elkaar, maar wel vlakbij elkaar, kan met kleine kinderen lastig zijn.

The property is absolutely wonderful. Nice, natural landscaping that let's you feel immersed in the Hawaiian rainforest. Feels very secluded and private, while also feeling safe and welcoming. Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.

Kona Magic Honu Room ligt in Kailua-Kona, op 2 minuten lopen van White Sands Beach Park en 14 km van Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park. Perfect spot for our first night in Hawaii. Easy to communicate with Mychelle, who was there when we arrived to welcome us and show us the amenities.

Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant ligt op 17 km van Kilauea, en biedt een 3-sterrenaccommodatie in Volcano en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een bar. We stayed at the Lodge for 3 nights and fall in love immediately. The staff was very friendly, the room was absolutely cute and perfectly cleaned and the dinner at the Lodge was excellent (you should try the Volcanoes wine made in the area!). Drinking water and parking were for free. The location was great, since we were there for hiking in the Volcanoes National Park, which is only 5-10 mins drive away. You can use the fire place in the common area for free and enjoy a relaxing evening. There is no TV in the room, which we loved. Time to talk and read a book. A rain forest nature trail belongs to the Lodge's area as well.

Dit luxe resort in Kailua-Kona beschikt over volledig ingerichte suites met 1 en 2 slaapkamers, 11 tennisbanen en 6 zwembaden, omgeven door tropische landschappen. De kamer was echt prachtig, heel ruim en schoon met een keuken. We waren ook erg tevreden met de voorzieningen op het resort, een zwembad met bubbelbad en diverse sportgelegenheden. Alles zag er netjes uit. Personeel was heel vriendelijk. Het ligt heel gunstig als je wilt gaan snorkelen met Manta's, op loopafstand. En de golfbaan ligt ook om de hoek. We hebben een heel prettig verblijf gehad.

Paniolo Greens Resort ligt op Big Island aan de Kohala-kust van Hawaï, minuten van het Hapuna Beach Park, en biedt volledig ingerichte villa's, een buitenbad met een ondiep gedeelte voor kinderen, en... Everything. Amazing value for a very comfortable stay in a good location with easy access to all the good beaches within 20 minutes drive. This property felt like a home. We were very comfortable and everything was spotless. Huge supermarket 2 minutes away. Our flight back home left at 10 pm and we were able to leave our luggage all day and even take showers before making our way to the airport. Highly recommend.
