And in many aspects it certainly does. The architecture is old school grand with flashbacks of 20th century romance. The room we stayed in harkened back to 1930’s opulence complete with stand alone tub and a round bed. We were met at reception by Kathy and Amy who work at reception but were kind enough to assign themselves to us as our personal concierge. They helped us find transport to Ancient Town and even recommended great restaurants and tailors to get suits made. Overall the stay at Grand Sunrise was very good. The hotel room was spacious and well appointed. We had the suite which wasn’t the biggest we’ve stayed in so I’m not sure what size a standard room would be like. The breakfast buffet was vast and the food was well presented and delicious. There were Asian dishes as well as western staples which was great. Overall I would highly recommend staying at Grand Sunrise Hotel for a great family vacation.

The calmness of the place, outside from the busy old quarter. The spa offers were amazing The pool is big and also quite deep at one end. I find it really nice. The breakfast options and the food at their own restaurant was really good. Our room was quite big with a bathtub and a walkin shower. I would definitely comeback.

This was our favorite stay in Vietnam. We loved every second of it. It was nice to get out of the business of Hoi An and just relaxing by the pool. We received afternoon coffee and snacks every day and the breakfast was also really good! The staff were so welcoming and helped with everything. The pool was amazing and very quiet at most times (we didn’t stay by the main pool - there are 2).

Resort-style rooms come with a balcony and free WiFi. We loved everything, but I need to give credit to the lovely staff as everybody went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! They have a huge (and delicious) breakfast selection and they make Vietnamese coffee on request! The rooms were clean and spacious and regardless of what kind of room you book, everything is close to everything (spa, restaurants, beach, pool). Would definitly come back!

Peacefulness, generous size of rooms, the jacuzzi bath in our suite which over looked the crystal clear large salt chlorinated pool -no need for googles in this pool. The daily free shuttle vehicle into the Old town and Cua Dai beach. Free bicycles for guests. The proximity to local restaurants, dentists, mini marts and the beach. The high quality of the meals we enjoyed , both for the daily breakfasts and evening meals can’t be praised enough.

The location, the spacious comfortable room and the free bicycle use were all great but what really made us feel at home was the owner, Flower, who is so welcoming and helpful, including taking us to a tailor and booking tours for us. We would definitely stay here again.
