The location was perfect, the images does not do it justice. it is absolutely stunning and tranquil, the weather played its part as it was sunny throughout our stay, waking up to the waves breaking and the sunrises set the tone for the day ahead. Thanks to Tanya for her hospitality and checking in on us, the housekeeping ensured we were actually on holiday, the security in the estate was great as well. Looking forward to our next visit to Durban, South Africa as this will be our first stop.

Ekhaya guesthouse as the name suggests is truly a home away from home. We were warmly welcomed by Richard the host, who went out of his way to to make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. He generously shared stories about his life and these made for great entertainment during breakfast.
Ekhaya is located in a safe area that is just minutes away from the beach, all major shopping centers and most tourists attractions. The house itself is neat, has several television sets with all subscriptions, and a cost sitting room that guests are welcome to use anytime. One can also make use of the many books that are around the house and in the rooms. There’s a pool and entertainment area outside. Richard made breakfast every day and offered all coffees and snacks in the kitchen as we wished.
Situated in Ballito and 6 minutes away from the beaches, Ezulwini Guest House offers well-appointed rooms. Free Wi-Fi and private parking is available.

The hotel WhatsApp group is an excellent idea, as guests are fully aware of all activities within the day. Perfect view of the beach and pool area from our room. The meals were exquisite and absolutely hit the spot on our taste buds. Staff and servicing team were very friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. The beds are pure relaxation and stress reliever. La Vita Spa (Melo & Nolly) were very accommodating and presented professionalism.
The accommodation was really lovely, spacious, with aircon throughout.
Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed.
The Balcony was absolutely fabulous - more than enough seating, the braai, jacuzzi it was a treat.
The property is close to everything. You could walk along the road and find a dinner spot, coffee shop etc.
Take a drive and you will find the mall .... it was very central to most things.

Incredible property with the most magnificent view of the sea. Set in a stunning gated community surrounded by beautiful trees and plants and wildlife. It’s safe and secure and has all the amenities anyone could wish for. 1 Ezulweni has massive open plan living space with doors that slide open fully merging onto a massive balcony with a private plunge pool. This is a little piece of paradise for anyone looking to relax and revive from life’s stresses. Tania is a fantastic host and we had a fabulous break.
