Maroelani Lodge- Greater Kruger Private Reserve offers 4-star accommodation with a hot tub and terrace. Everything was amazing, our safari guide, Francis and the team. It was perfect, it felt so personalised and we felt incredibly well looking after. We had a couple of drives at neighbouring reserves and whilst they might have a few more animals on the drives; from the conversations we had with people staying at these resorts the hospitality we had was unmatched. The beauty of staying here is you have the option to do additional drives at Kruger or neighbouring reserves but this is the most incredible base and the drives are much more intimate and informative. Ghert (might have butchered the spelling) was nothing short of exceptional during and outside of the game drives. I’m fortunate with work to stay at some very nice locations across the globe but this experience tops the list.

Guests can relax by the swimming pool, the TV lounge or the reading lounge, which offers views of the Limpopo River. The restaurant serves traditional South African cuisine and a sparkling wine breakfast buffet. We booked here on the spur of the moment, and it did not disappoint. Our favorite part of the night we spend here was the game drive and "bush bar" and the amazing dinner overlooking the lodge pool. The food is out of this world! Each dinner guest gets there own waiter and they are well trained and attentive. The room was luxurious, and the overall decor very tasteful. We loved all the "African" touches, sculptures, walkways and art. We are so glad we took a chance to visit and would do it again.

Everything was great , staff was super friendly, food was amazing especially Moyo our Safari driver made our experience unforgetable
