This lovely cottage couldn’t be more perfect. It is centrally located in the heart of the Lake District with hiking, biking, dining and shopping just out the door. The cottage is stunning and just as beautiful as in the pictures. Everything a guest needs is provided in the house. The only thing that could top this is the personal attention and quick responses from the host.

Came to Windermere for one night for the start of a roadtrip with my partner. This accommodation made our time there really special. Lovely and clean home, with a modern interior impressed us when we walked in. Having the hot tub there was amazing really completed a perfect stay. Bed was super comfortable, I really have nothing bad to say about this stay. Loved every second of it, location was great aswell. Hosts were very easy to contact and were very polite. Would recommend this to anyone staying in Windermere!

The property was way above expectations. Maintained to a very high standard with everything spotlessly clean and working as it should. Loved the added touch of a Christmas tree, Prossecco, towels and ensuring the heating was on with music on arrival. Genuinely isnt often these days property owners go above and beyond.

The location was in walkable distance to the center as well.

Ees Wyke is a gem in every way; from Richard our host and his staff, to our lovely room, to the delicious breakfast and an amazing, world class dinner, to spectacular scenery, plus it is a very short walk to Hill Top: Beatrix Potter’s home, which is what brought me to the Lake District from America in the first place. I couldn’t have been more pleased!

L’hébergement Candy Cottage vous accueille à Bowness-on-Windermere, à respectivement 400 mètres et 38 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : The World of Beatrix Potter et Derwentwater. we as a family of five adults were travelling through uk and thought of staying at lake district and had last minute booking . we always read through reviews and more reviews the better .candy cottage seems new listing and very less reviews but real good one so took chance and i must say nothing can get better then candy cottage stay at lake district. it simple carries the warmth and love of its owner and attention to details are perfect . i will say reviews up till now doesn't fully justify what a jewel it is. every thing went flawless till we arrived with clear instructions for keys and continuous follow up by lauren ,inside it was smelling like fresh flowers and perfectly suited us with two master bed and two single beds in three bedrooms. master toilet of house was on lower ground with kitchen and dinning area ambiance of master toilet with large bath tub and shower area with wc and naturally lit was treat other then that there was another wc area and shower area on lower floor and on on top most floor there was another wc area so three toilets area was more then enough. heating arrangements were perfect and easy to handle, kitchen had all the accessories to enjoy cooking if required along with washing machine too we only could wish that we had more days to spend there and we are determined then whenever we will be back in lake district candy cottage is gonna be our home away from home i really appreciate who so ever is behind setting up candy cottage and made available for travellers to enjoy and last but not the least cant have such perfect location at bowness just embedded with in walking distance of every place where one has to go while staying at bowness best stay in uk so far☺️
