The hotel looks brand new. Decorated in a very modern way. The facilities were perfect. The room had everything we needed. The spa area was excellent. A few blocks away from the main plaza. The people at the counter, bar, restaurant, cleaning crew, and parking were all eager to serve with a smile. Everyone was very friendly and kind. Breakfast was good. The room service menu was delicious. We loved our experience in the hotel.

Handy to sights, & a good price. The staff were impeccable, & attention to detail was paid in all things. The meals were outstanding ( breakfast is a huge 5 cse meal. ) nothing was too hard for the staff laundry sorted- organizing our private transfer to Budva. All the staff were excellent in what they did. Our room was excellent & serviced every day - right down to a new razor & tooth brushes. Faultless. I highly recommend this Hotel..

The Villa delivers what it promises. It is a a lovely, small property in a little street off the main road. Quiet, homely and very comfortable. Immaculately clean, great air conditioning, a comfy bed and a a small patio to sit under a pomegranate tree. The location is perfect to get to the centre easily by foot, taxis a minute away. If you are looking for a hotel-stay, this is not the place for you. This is for people who appreciate quietness and friendliness and independence. The host Wilson is exceptional and will go out of his way to help you in any way he can. His recommendations are great and he is great to talk you. Recommended!

Please see my comment on House of Leaves. Thankfully Tirana and the Albanian government have preserved the two massive underground bunkers: BunkArt 1 and BunkArt 2 for all to see how horrible that era was on the Albanian people. There are so many people living today that are not aware of what the communist did to many millions of people. There are even some in the USA that think that communism is where USA should be today. They would not be promoting that if everyone saw these exhibits and knew the truth about communism. Never forget, freedom is not free!

For any visitor with even a passing interest in Albanian...

For any visitor with even a passing interest in Albanian history ,BunkArt1 and BunkArt2 are "must see" ! As you head off for your beach vacation in the south, it's a sobering reminder of the tragedy that the Albanian people have endured over the 20th C. (and have still remained the helpful, friendly and vibrant nature of the Albanian heart.
